Are you a compassionate and collaborative Psychologist looking for more meaningful work — somewhere you can genuinely change lives while being supported by a values-led organisation that truly cares about both its clients and clinicians?

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected not-for-profit organisation committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and neuro-affirming psychological services to individuals and families across the community.

More than just a workplace, this organisation is deeply driven by purpose. Every service delivered is designed to improve wellbeing, increase accessibility to care, and create positive, lasting outcomes for people who may otherwise struggle to access support.

You’ll become part of a warm, multidisciplinary team that values compassion, collaboration, continuous learning, and person-centred care — where clinicians are encouraged to grow professionally while doing deeply rewarding work every day.

Why This Role Stands Out:

Meaningful Work That Truly Matters
As a not-for-profit organisation, the focus here is firmly on people over profit. You’ll have the opportunity to support clients across the lifespan while contributing to a service that is genuinely improving access to quality mental health care within the community.

This is a role where your work has visible impact — supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed care.

A Supportive, Values-Driven Culture:
You’ll join a welcoming and highly collaborative team that prioritises clinician wellbeing, professional support, and shared learning. The organisation has built a strong reputation for creating a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace where people feel valued and connected.

Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of experience, you’ll be supported by approachable leadership, peer collaboration, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Flexibility & Work-Life Balance:
The organisation understands the importance of flexibility and sustainable workloads. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, along with flexible and hybrid working arrangements that support balance both inside and outside of work.

Excellent Benefits in the NFP Sector:
  • Competitive salary package up to $130k + super
  • Access to attractive not-for-profit salary packaging benefits
  • Ongoing supervision, mentoring, and CPD support
  • Genuine opportunities for professional growth and specialisation
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options
  • A supportive multidisciplinary environment focused on learning and collaboration
About the Role:
In this rewarding role, you’ll provide therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments for clients across the lifespan within a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed framework.

You’ll work closely with families, schools, allied health professionals, and the broader community to deliver holistic and person-centred care that empowers clients and improves long-term outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering therapy and psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Supporting neurodivergent clients using evidence-based and neuro-affirming approaches
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals
  • Participating in case discussions, program development, and service improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and ethical practice standards
About You
You’re a warm, thoughtful clinician who values collaboration, inclusivity, and meaningful client outcomes. You’re passionate about providing accessible care and want to work within an organisation whose values genuinely align with your own.

You will bring:
  • AHPRA General Registration as a Psychologist
  • Medicare provider number, or willingness to obtain one
  • Interest or experience working across the lifespan
  • Passion for neuro-affirming and trauma-informed practice
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Alignment with community-focused and person-centred values
Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:
  • NDIS, community, or school-based settings
  • Psychological assessments including ADOS, WISC-V, ABAS, or similar tools
If you’re looking for a role where you can feel genuinely connected to the impact of your work, be supported by a caring team, and contribute to a purpose-driven organisation making a real difference in the community, this is an exceptional opportunity to consider.
