Positive Behavioral Support Practitioner

- Permanent role, with clients across Sydney and Central Coast
Work within an impressive team of experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical team, where the best outcomes for Participants are the sole focus.
The Behaviour Support Practitioner will work alongside the director and BSP Manager to work with current clients and continue growing the division.
This role will involve;
Developing comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans that are therapeutic, incorporate positive behaviour strategies and are compliant with the legislative requirements under the NDIS and Aged Care Programs.
What does this role look like for you?
- Developing comprehensive Behaviour support plans
Engage people from all walks of life, carers and other persons involved in care of the participant in the implementation of the Behaviour Support Plan.
- Use a positive behavioural and strengths-based approach with a clear focus on person-centred interventions
- Use research evidence and professional reasoning when recommending the most appropriate Behaviour Support Plan therapy strategies
- Build effective relationships with participants and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate excellent skills in managing time, setting priorities, complex planning and organising own work to achieve specific objectives.
Requirements;
- Currently, NDIS qualified
- Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner- Core, Proficient or Advanced would be ideal
- Experience working within the NDIS and with Adult caseloads
- Must want to be part of a team, ongoing team building and collaboration
- Unrestricted driver's license and personal vehicle
- Several probity checks will be required
