Our client is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the team in Liverpool working with a paediatric caseload focused on children with Autism. This role works closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide support, guidance, and ongoing therapy to clients and their families on the NDIS funding scheme.

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the functional abilities and needs of paediatric clients. Utilize specialized assessment tools and a huge range of resources onsite to provide therapy.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including other occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and families to provide holistic care and support for clients. Coordinate efforts to address the unique needs of each child and ensure consistency across educational and therapeutic settings.
  • Family Education and Support: Provide ongoing education, training, and support to families and caregivers to empower them in facilitating ongoing development at home to assist the child in practicing techniques.
  • A Degree Qualification – Occupational Therapy
  •  Driver’s license
  • Current full AHPRA Registration
  • WWCC
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team

Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
