Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Creative Lead – Engagement & Giving to join our Engagement & Giving team in Ultimo, NSW 2007. This is a 10-month fixed-term (maternity cover) opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.

About the Role
As a Creative Lead – Engagement & Giving, you will:

• Lead the creative direction across marketing, fundraising, and engagement campaigns
• Oversee and deliver high-quality design across digital, print, and multi-channel platforms
• Ensure brand consistency and act as the custodian of Barnardos’ visual identity across all outputs
• Manage and mentor designers, supporting delivery, creativity, and team capability

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in design, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience in a senior creative or design leadership role
• Strong portfolio showcasing work across print, digital, and campaign environments
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities, including a strong understanding of cultural safety, self-determination, and the historical and contemporary factors that impact Aboriginal peoples
