We are looking to recruit a Quality Compliance Specialist for a well known aged care client, to support and be the strategic thinker as they are a governance expert.

As a leading independent, not-for-profit provider, our client don't just provide services; they help our community navigate the complexities of Aged Care with transparency and heart.

You will be the guardian of their clinical and operational standards. This isn't a "back-office" role, you will be at the fore front of the Support at Home sector reforms, ensuring your new employer remains a benchmark for safety and excellence.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Reform: Lead the charge in aligning practice frameworks with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards
  • Continuous Improvement: Move beyond simple compliance to identify systemic trends, overseeing incident and complaint management with a focus on organisational learning
  • Audit Mastery: Maintain a state of "always ready" through rigorous internal audits, accreditation management, and proactive risk mitigation
  • Culture & Capability: Mentor the Quality & Policy team and empower frontline staff to embrace safety and risk awareness as part of their everyday practice
  • Governance Architecture: Own the development and control of organisational policies that reflect both best practice and their unique model

You will bring your expertise in:

  • Sector Experience: Demonstrable experience in Quality, Risk, or Compliance within Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
  • Practice Frameworks: Deep knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks (Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS, etc.)
  • Communication: Exceptional document-writing skills with an analytical mindset
  • Thought leadership: The ability to lead and mentor a dedicated Quality & Policy team
  • Systems Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Client Management Systems (experience with TLW is a significant advantage)
  • As an ideal candidate you will have:Qualifications: A degree in Health, Human Services, Social Sciences, or a related field (such as Policy or Compliance) is highly regarded
  • Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in navigating regulatory reporting frameworks across the Aged Care, NDIS, or Mental Health sectors
  • Knowledge: Advanced command of risk mitigation strategies and corporate governance systems within a community services context
