Build your own caseload within an established, child-focused private practice in Goulburn

  • Ideal for Mental Health Social Workers, OT's, Speech Pathologists
  • Part-time 2-3 days p/w contracting opportunity
  • Hybrid work arrangements
abrs are recruiting for an established private counselling and therapy practice in Goulburn, supporting children, young people and adults across a range of therapeutic and allied health needs!

The practice has a strong focus on children and families, with purpose-built spaces for younger clients and a child-centred approach incorporating play and creative therapeutic interventions.

With significant local demand and limited access to face-to-face allied health services, the practice is looking to expand its team.

About the Role
The practice is seeking a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist or Mental Health Social Worker to join on a part-time contractor basis, ideally 2-3 days per week.
  • Predominantly face-to-face clinical work
  • Some telehealth flexibility available
  • Existing client demand and referral opportunities
  • Administration, bookings and client management supported
  • Potential to transition to permanent employment as your caseload develops
  • Support and training available for clinicians newer to private practice
  • Ideal commencement within approximately 4 weeks
The client base is predominately children with some adults, with particularly strong demand for autism and ADHD, trauma, mental health, developmental concerns and assessments.

Key Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Social Work
  • Current AHPRA registration or relevant AASW Mental Health accreditation, as applicable
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Ability to provide face-to-face services in Goulburn
  • Genuine interest in working with children, young people and families
  • Strong clinical practice, communication and relationship-building skills
Private practice experience is desirable but not essential. The practice is open to supporting the right clinician to build their confidence and caseload.

Why Join? This is an opportunity to join an established practice with strong local demand, flexible working arrangements and an existing referral pipeline, without needing to build a private practice from scratch.
If you're looking for flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children and families in the Goulburn community, apply now!
