Barnardos are looking for a permanent Office Administrator within our OOHC Programs based in Homebush West, 2129
The Office Administrator will be responsible for;
- Providing administrative support to four programs, inclusive of the Adoption, Legal, Permanent Care and Recruitment teams.
- Answering and recording incoming calls and following-up on messages in a timely manner
- Greeting people at reception with a civil and respectful manner
- Processing and recording all incoming and outgoing mail
- Record and complete all delegated financial management tasks
- General oversight of maintenance and repair of office equipment
- Maintain an up-to-date staff contact and carer lists
- Ensure WHS and Fire and Safety policy and procedures are recorded and maintained
- Coordinate, collate and devise the OoHC newsletter on a rotational basis with other Office Administrators
- Assist with onboarding and exiting staff with oversight of the office functions including garage and office access, parking, IT access, Security and ID
About You
As a Office Administrator, you will ideally have;
- Certificate IV or Diploma level is business administration
- 2 years demonstrated experience in administration support
- Demonstrated ability to manage an office finance system, including accounts payable, petty cash and maintenance of order books
- Demonstrated ability in managing the running of an office, including purchasing office supplies, assisting with photocopying, and preparation of training material
- High level of computer literacy skills across a range of programs and devices
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritise and time manage effectively

Salary: Base $63,521 to $68,559 per annum plus leave loading plus superannuation. Packaging available to receive $15,860 of your salary tax free. Motor vehicle packaging available on selected roles.
To be considered for roles with Barnardos you will need to have (or be willing to have conducted) a National Police Clearance and current Working with Children check Clearance (or APP number) and for the ACT a Drivers History Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card and CYPS Check.
